» Respect your peers. Members, guests and staff are all to be treated with a fair mind and kind heart.
» While we can provide roleplay during events, we have a requirement of atleast five sentences in both posts and pride lore descriptions, if you wish to submit your pride. » You must ask before sending unregistered individuals in the game storymode encounters. Common damn courtesy. » We use the standard Lioden timezone, and all members must be adhere to that time-zone when documenting pride events. This is to ensure that everyone adheres to the same timeline. Lioden time does not alter with daylight savings, and your prides should not either. » Storymode prides must have a king and queen who can breed to grow their pride. Non-storymode lions that aren't related to them or have been adopted into the group may bred with wandering studs, until the king has been dethroned.
» Territory in roleplay threads are not claimable, and are meant to be a sandbox for those who wish to explore, claim lionesses, and have encounters in an alternate way. More rules apply to these threads, but they will be listed elsewhere. » Non-storymode breeding projects are allowed, so long as you can handle organizing both that and your storymode lions seperately. Preferably in different caves. You may breed your king to these lions as well if it is absolutely necessary. » After a male challenges your king, there is a two week period (14 months in Lioden time ) for the winner starting from when the verdict was made. During this time the reigning male cannot be challenged. Lionesses also cannot breed, unless all the cubs from the former king have been slaughtered. » Adult males (over 1 year) may leave their pride at any time. They may stay as an eventual heir, or wander around, gradually moving on to find their own prides and challenge a neighboring male. They can do this within our roleplay thread, where you can send your boys of to other storymode prides so they have a chance at being kinged. » Each pride has the same basic hierarchy ( The main male, motherly figurehead, ascending roles, and cubs. ), but the specific names for these ranks in each pride may vary. None the less, the rules surrounding them are the same no matter what each pride calls it. » All ranks, including main male, may be challenged for and constantly tested between your lions. Especially when lions are interacting within our threads. Treat this factor of storymode however you will, and establish your own challenging rules. » A war is considered a battle between two or more prides where, for the most part, both sides are aware of the situation. Each member of storymode must decide who will win beforehand, before roleplaying this out or causing a ruckous.
» A raid is where one side attempts to sneak into another pride and catch them by surprise. Usually the intention is to loot or steal other members and/or kill certain lions. Both sides must be aware of the possibility for a raid, and both sides must consent to it, and understand what was lost or gained. » While fun and exciting, Wars and Raids are exceptionally high risk! Death is very common in these situations, and you must be willing to accept that risk if you're going to participate. Unless the opponent was found to be breaking the rules in some way, all deaths (default or in battle) are considered final. They may be recorded on our site without question. » All those participating in a raid/war are required to post this oath along with their first post; "I, _(account name)_, understand these terms and conditions and that my character/s _(name/s)_ may be seriously injured or killed in this raid. If my character is deemed dead, seriously injured or unconscious, I will not argue such a fate, as I have willingly participated." If your lion is deemed unconscious, it can no longer participate in the fight. Other lions then have the option of killing your lion or kidnapping it. Either way, once you're unconscious, you may no longer participate. You may not attack multiple lions in one post. Leaving right after an attack will be thought of as power playing and will not be tolerated. You must endure five replies to escape unless you are a panicked cub. After which, you may flee at any time. » Each opponent can only attack one lion per match. Attacking and fleeing is considered powerplaying, and not allowed. You must engage the lion you attack. A winning side is determined when either all opponents are defeated, or one side forfeits (by force or choice). If the raid or war dies down and goes inactive, it is considered a draw. » If you would like to plan for adopting out cubs (or any other lions), please use Adoption roleplays. You may also find someone in our forum explore who is playing a cub they wish to be adopted or ridden of. You must be aware your cubs could die. Chose your biomes and cubs wisely, » A pride cannot become adopt cubs unless they have a nursing or grieving lioness. As that would be the most realistic circumstance for adopting in another mouth to feed. Adopting lionesses or sub males is different, and is called "claiming." » Regarding young lions: Cubs are considered "Teens" when they turn 1 year. Teens become adults at 2 years of age, and will no longer need supervision or guidance from pride lionesses. |
